Our little man is 3 weeks old today!
The baby’s security detail is still strong…even his clothes are guarded
Getting to meet my great Granny last night.
James and Alya brought Martha over to meet Micah. Martha enjoyed holding him and told us many stories from when her children were babies! This woman has some stories, trust me. I love how sharp her memory is. Alya mentioned how much he’d changed even from seeing him one week prior. She’s right. It is interesting how time seems to go so slow and so fast at the same time. I love that all 4 generations were in one room!
Here are some of our visitors from this week.
One rainy day this week I was attempting to chase the dogs back inside. They had discovered an injured bird in our backyard and would not leave it alone. I don’t know how the birds always find their way into our backyard because this has happened more than once. I was in my bathrobe and slippers, it was raining, and I can’t bend down to pick up the dogs still from surgery. They also were not listening to my request for them to come inside. They chased the poor bird behind a fence post where he cowered in terror long after they left I’m sure. Micah was inside crying in his bouncer. These are the days I’m thankful when sweet friends call and offer to bring me lunch and let me shower. Thank you friends!
Happy birthday Toby and Spencer!
Homemade dog treats for the boys’ birthdays, May 10th and 13th, respectively.
Better late than never! They are now 6 year olds. I operate on a more delayed schedule these days but I still managed to make a special treat for them.
Saturdays are a little different now. I love all my boys. :)
